It’s the time for parties galore now that the New Year is around the corner. And since we never ever pass up a chance to look hot and happening here’s what’s what on the different looks you might like to try if you want to mix it up this party season.
Super sexy
To cop this look play up your best facial feature. Go in for either dramatic smoldering eyes or a deep coloured pout. Our fav colour for the season is red. Just make sure you get a shade that suits your skin type. As for clothes, nothing says foxy lady more than a little black dress. But if that’s too boring for you then purple and chocolate are really hot this season. Just put on some killer heels and you are ready to go.
Girl next door
If you want to seem friendly and cute this look is for you. Stick to a rosy peachy colour palette. Less is more here ladies so slick on some lip gloss for that kissable pout, some blush for those rosy cheeks and just some eyeliner and mascara for pretty peepers. As for clothes you’re in luck cause baby doll dresses, bubble tops and peep toe shoes are all the rage this season. A warning though, this look is very appealing so be prepared to have lots of guys coming up to you and pledging undying love.
Movie star glam
If you want to step out in style like one of your movie idols then help is at hand with tons of stores that stock up on outfits from the latest box office hits. As for make up try a Deepika Padukone look with long sweeping lashes (lengthening mascara), shiny pout (glitter lip gloss) and poker straight hair. Or Beyonce`s dangerously bronzed skin (iridescent powder or bronzer) and tousled hair.
Classy and sophisticated
If you are the cool, calm and collected sort the make up should be tame but flawless. Warm colours that don’t over power each other work well. Stick to browns and honey shades. Keep the look un fussy with well groomed hair, clothes with sleek cuts and minimum jewellery. A well cut salwar suit or a classic pencil skirt and knit top will show off the uber polished you.
Rock chick
If you want a very edgy look, rock star is the way to go. Dark rimmed eyes and nude lip shades will do the trick. If you are really committed to the look, eye shadow in purple and orange will get you noticed for sure. Go all out with a wacky hair do. Spike it; tie it up high or for the brave ones, a Mohawk. Leggings and long tee`s, ripped denims with racer backs, ankle boots are all in this season so you have a lot to pick from.
